The hotel’s location worked really well for me. It’s closer to the train station than many other hotels, and my Italian bus from Norcia dropped me about a five minute walk from the entrance. I really enjoyed being there. My corner room had a beautiful view, thick windows, and a serranda that made it possible to get it very dark. Opening the windows brought in quite a bit of street noise, though, and I had trouble sleeping. The room had air conditioning, but I couldn’t use it during this season. The room itself was clean but dated, with a firm mattress and firm pillows; the linens were very clean. The hotel decor is unusual, with vintage posters from Spoleto city festivals over the decades. Staff were kind and attentive, and breakfast was simple but nice.

The hotel itself was nice, but I found the staff not very helpful, and the WiFi in the rooms was terrible.

My husband and I stayed here in September 2021 while doing the Via Francesco, and we had everything we needed. The central location was convenient, and our little balcony was a lovely spot to watch the sunset, with mountains in the distance. Breakfast had a very good selection, possibly the best we had across a month of different B&Bs. I’d highly recommend it.

I arrived in the early hours and was met with courteous, kind staff. The room was clean, and the bathroom had a modern feel. Breakfast the next morning was excellent, served buffet style in a room with a lovely view. Everyone was friendly and helpful again, and I was sorry I couldn’t stay longer. I’d gladly return.
