I only ate dinner here, so I can't comment on the hotel. The parking lot and dining room are both large enough for quite a few people. The bathrooms were clean, and access for disabled guests seemed fine. I can't answer anything about celiac options, since I didn't ask. My partner's trout fillet was acceptable. I had homemade pasta with truffles, which was the evening special I was hoping for, but the pasta was sticky and the truffle cream had almost no flavor. I expected an excellent dish and was disappointed. For me, service gets an 8 and speed an 8, while the dishes we chose get a 6.

Just to be clear, I haven't stayed at the hotel. I've used the restaurant for both eating in and takeout, and I love the pizza. To me, it's among the best in Spoleto. Takeout can arrive a little late, but once you're eating that pizza, the short wait is easy to forget. The quality for the price is good.

We spent two nights and three days here and had a really pleasant stay. The food was delicious, the pizza was excellent, and the place was clean. The lovely owner and the waiters were all friendly and helpful. If I come back to Spoleto, I'll definitely stay at Il Vecchio Forno 😊

We've had dinner here twice as a couple with our dog. One evening we got pizza, and the other time we shared mixed antipasti made with local products, then had pappardelle with wild boar, mutton, and lamb. It was all delicious, and there was plenty of it. The staff gave us recommendations, the service was excellent, and the value was excellent too.

We've been to the restaurant many times, and everything has been delicious. The meat and fish are top quality, and the pizza is really good as well. Highly recommend it.
