We left a shirt behind and called the owner to ask if he could send it to us. He said they didn’t do that, then hung up. The rest of the stay was just as bad: our Smartbox covered two nights with breakfast and dinner, but dinner was the same both days. When we asked about changing the first course, they charged us for it. An old-fashioned hotel, and the owner was very rude.

We’ve been coming back for years when we need to unwind. It’s right in paradise, the home-cooked food is excellent, and the service and cleanliness are great. I’d recommend it to anyone.

Our room on the third floor had a terrace facing the Monteluco forest, and it was so quiet. The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. Staff were warm and courteous, and the setting is ideal if you’re looking for real relaxation. The food was excellent too. With so many good options nearby, I’d suggest a smaller savory selection at breakfast. Recommended.

We spent two nights here last March using our Smartbox, and had a lovely time. The hotel is peaceful and surrounded by greenery, and the owners are kind. Breakfast and dinner at the hotel were both good.

We came away feeling relaxed and really enjoyed our stay. The food was superb, especially the strangozzi, lamb chops and suckling pig. I don’t think some of the negative reviews are entirely fair. Mr. Claudio showed us places to visit, and his wife was very kind too. The staff were excellent, especially the girls working there, and the owners were delightful. We had a wonderful weekend, definitely recommended.
