We were in Spoleto for a wedding and stayed five nights. The location was ideal, just around the corner from Casa Mahler, where the wedding party was based. Lori welcomed us with directions to the door and a parking permit for our stay. From the moment we arrived, the beautiful home felt peaceful and full of history. Our room was spacious and wonderfully cool, with magnificent views over the convent and the hills beyond. The care put into every detail is superb. Lori is warm, charming and knowledgeable, and dear sweet Celeste made sure breakfast was delicious and nothing was too much trouble. We'd love to come back to explore more of the area, and maybe attend the festival. We highly recommend staying here.

Spoleto is beautiful, full of great art, and perfect for wandering its old street network. Lori also introduced us to L'Angolo Antico just a few steps away, and we went three times. We spent six fantastic nights at Palazzo Sant'Angelo with Lori, Justin and the team, who generously shared their time and experience. It really felt like a home away from home. The medieval building has been modernized beautifully and thoughtfully, with all the comforts. From our room, the view of Bosco Santo was astonishing, and we were glad we made it up to the top at Monteluco. Celeste was especially caring and efficient, moving easily between Spanish, Italian and English. A huge thank you to the whole team for such a wonderful stay.

We only just left, and already I'd go back tomorrow. Our garden room felt like a beautiful, spacious private home, carefully decorated and maintained. The hosts were lovely, generous and knowledgeable, with impeccable taste. The setting is straight out of a storybook, and the building is an incredible 600-year-old convent, beautifully restored with a modern interior. A fantastic experience in Umbria, and one I'd highly recommend. Thank you, Masha and Ted.

The owners, Lori and Justin, made us feel so welcome in this lovely, beautifully restored monastery B&B. We stayed four nights in May and wished we'd booked longer. The room, amenities and service were all excellent, and breakfast was delicious and generous. Justin keeps a lovely garden with peaceful countryside views, perfect for breakfast or a glass of wine later on. Lori's food was fantastic and beautifully presented. She arranged great restaurants for us and even walked us there each evening. For my birthday, she also planned a special dinner and surprised us with roses. She became more than a hostess, she felt like a friend. I highly recommend staying here and hope to return soon.

The Palazzo sits in Spoleto's medieval quarter, with tasty restaurants and breathtaking views just steps away. As you explore the hilly streets, ask Lisa and Justin about whatever interests you, they were as helpful as we found them. We stayed in the Green Room, and also got to see the other rooms. All are thoughtfully designed with luxurious touches and generous en-suite bathrooms. Whether in the room, at breakfast or in the garden, the comfort and attention to detail make for a refined, relaxing stay in this faithfully restored medieval building from the mid-1400s. From booking through arrival and the rest of our visit, Lisa, Justin and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Lisa is Italian and fluent in English, while Justin is English; both are genuinely warm and focused on their guests. We arrived by train, and they helped coordinate our pickup from Spoleto station. Guests who drove could use available nearby parking. The website reflected our experience well, and we were delighted with our stay. We'll certainly return soon.
