Marco and Monica were lovely, so helpful and welcoming. The pool was kept immaculate, with a sunny spot to relax, and kids have games to play nearby. We ate dinner there and everything was excellent quality, authentic, and made with ingredients grown on site. Breakfast was delicious, and our room was clean and inviting. It’s a peaceful place in nature where you can really switch off. The final stretch of road is a little tricky, so an SUV is probably best, but that’s part of getting to somewhere so quiet.

It’s a rustic agriturismo, tucked away and very quiet, which I liked. There’s a playground and animals, so it works well for families, and couples wanting a secluded break could enjoy it too. Bring your own food if that suits you, though do try Monica and Marco’s cooking. I had their homemade cured meat and cheese platter and it was excellent. My apartment had a kitchen and a roomy living area, although it might not have every utensil. The owners are lovely, and I think they’d be happy to provide anything needed. The pool was clean and well looked after. Wi-Fi coverage could be better.

Marco and Monica were friendly, kind, and always helpful, and the food they make on their farm was excellent. The agriturismo is surrounded by greenery and very peaceful. The last part of the drive is the one drawback, but the hospitality and food more than make up for it. I hope I can come back soon.

You can really disconnect here once you’ve made it up the road. That’s the only downside, and it soon slips your mind after arrival. The place is lovely for anyone who enjoys nature and quiet, and Marco and Monica welcome you with real warmth. We had a wonderful stay.
