Albergo Miramare

We’ve been back, and it’s still great, right on the shore. D. H. Lawrence was inspired by staying there long before us. The room has a beautiful view, and the place is very clean and friendly. Definitely somewhere to return to.

We spent a wonderful week at Hotel Miramare Spotorno at the end of August/beginning of September and were thrilled. The owners were friendly, and the staff were incredibly attentive and helpful. We’d absolutely book the private parking again, since it’s difficult to park without it. The rooms were beautifully furnished and spotless, with breathtaking views, though they aren’t overly luxurious. Breakfast was excellent, with everything an Italian heart could desire. The setting is fantastic, with a lovely beach and crystal-clear water right in front, and Spotorno’s charming town just behind, full of restaurants, bars, small shops, and a great atmosphere. We especially liked the clientele around town, 95% of whom were Italian. It made everything feel more relaxed and like authentic Italian life rather than a typical holiday resort. We’ll definitely be back!

Sara and her staff were kind and helpful, as were the two night porters, who were friendly and ready to chat or share information. It was my first stay here, and I plan to return. The location was stunning, my room had a spectacular sea view, and breakfast was excellent with plenty of variety. The special offer with the beach club below was convenient, and the sea was clean.
