Castello Vassallo

We wanted a venue where everything for our wedding could happen in one place, and Castello Vassallo was perfect for us. We held our civil ceremony at the castle entrance, then had dinner and the party in the beautiful garden beneath twinkling fairy lights, with that stunning view of Cilento. Most of our guests could also book a room in the castle and stay overnight. Since we were organising everything from abroad, having organisers we could work well with mattered a lot. Oscar and Gabriela were extremely helpful and responsive, and easy to deal with. The wedding itself had amazing food, top service and an incredible atmosphere. We were especially happy to use the marquee in the newly constructed vineyard. We had a wonderful selection of sweets and cakes there, and it felt like being in a completely different location without leaving the venue. A lot of our guests said the wedding looked like a scene from a movie and made them feel part of a fairytale. For an intimate ceremony in an unforgettable place, with history and tradition, delicious food and an authentic feeling of Cilento culture, this is definitely the place.
