The views were great, and the rooms were spacious and spotless. It’s a relaxed place with good staff, and a fantastic starting point for the Stelvio pass route.

We came as a group of 13 and stayed at Nives in mid February. The location was top notch, and we all had a great stay. Our rooms were large, fresh and clean, breakfast was great, and the restaurant had good, varied meals in the evenings. The staff were super friendly. There was also a big shared room for all of us to spend the evening in, plus a game room for the kids.

We got in quite late, after check-in was supposedly closed, but the receptionist waited an extra hour for us. When we arrived, he even came outside to help with parking and everything else. The breakfast was amazing, and both the views and the hotel’s surroundings were amazing too.

Our room had a beautiful view, and the location was lovely. Everything was neat and clean, and the staff were nice.

The standard rooms are just okay, though the bathroom was clean and modern. Staff were very friendly, and the food was okay, probably among the best in the area. I took off a star because breakfast starts at 7:30, which feels late for the mountains. The homepage says they offer breakfast for early birds and late ones, but that start time isn’t especially early. It should just say the breakfast hours are standard.
