Hotel Gertraud

After a day on the slopes, you can relax in the whirlpool, sauna, or steam room, then enjoy an excellent five-course dinner. The food is high quality and made with creativity and care, and there’s a good range of drinks at the bar. The staff are always incredibly friendly and helpful. This is a beautiful family-run hotel with attention to every detail. The rooms are modern, bright, clean, and have balconies with stunning mountain views. Sulden is always worth a visit, and if you want to treat yourself, this is a great place to do it.

The food was a highlight every day, plentiful and varied, with new things to try and wonderful quality. It was prepared with care and just what we needed after skiing. Our room was spacious, tastefully furnished, clean, and well maintained. The thoughtful details made us feel right at home. We spent a whole week skiing here and had a wonderful stay. The owner welcomed us himself, and his warm, attentive manner carried through the whole team. You can tell hospitality matters here. We’d love to return and can wholeheartedly recommend the hotel. The owner was so friendly and personable, warm and attentive to his guests. The rooms were fantastic, and dinner was divine. It was wonderful, though I almost hate to review it and give away this hidden gem. We’ll definitely be back!

Our vacation ended earlier than expected because of a health issue affecting my father-in-law. Martin, the hotel owner, showed great judgment and support by calling for help, which was crucial in preventing the worst. The staff stayed close to us, and their humility and humanity touched us deeply. We’ll keep you in our hearts ❤️ I agree with all the very positive reviews: the rooms are modern, spotlessly clean, and comfortable, and the chef makes delicious meals every evening.
