A good-value place in a beautiful stretch of the eastern Dolomites. It’s a Christian alpine house, but you don’t have to attend liturgies. They offer full or half board, and the meals are good. Usually you need to book at least three nights. Bring your own sheets and pillowcases.

We spent three days here and left feeling recharged. The town and surrounding area are enchanting, and there’s plenty of parking. The house is lovely, with clean, welcoming rooms and excellent food. The buffet is always varied and plentiful, and the staff are warm, cheerful and cordial.

The bathroom is tiny, and there aren’t any balconies. The bunk beds are noisy and feel dangerous.

The staff were so polite, kind and capable, and Don Marco was especially helpful, courteous, accommodating and very friendly. The service and variety at breakfast, lunch and dinner were worthy of a five-star restaurant. The food was excellent and beautifully prepared, with generous portions. Prices felt very fair for the quality. I had a wonderful time in the days before Epiphany and plan to return soon with my family and another family of friends. See you soon, Don Marco, Casa Alpina, and Canale d'Agordo. The rooms were comfortable, new and heated, and the bathrooms were also new, clean and comfortable. Even the mini-apartments were comfortable and fully equipped.
