Hotel Stilfserhof

We only stayed one night on our road trip, but the setting and the hosts' friendliness made it feel like one of the best places we've been. We were so touched by the hospitality, and the food could hold its own against Europe's best kitchens. Thank you for everything!

The service really stood out. Everyone was attentive and kind, and the chef knows how to prepare beef: we tried entrecôte, roast beef and boiled beef, and every meal was delicious. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and we enjoyed four days at this lovely hotel. Sulden ski area is about 15 minutes away by car, and there's a ski bus too. Thanks for everything, we'll definitely be back.

A cozy little wellness area with a steam bath and sauna, plus a great breakfast and a fabulous five-course dinner. The staff were so friendly that the hotel had an almost family-like feel. We had a wonderful stay, highly recommended!

The village is a lovely place to wander around and take photos, and the views from our room and the restaurant were stunning. Breakfast was included, with breads, meat, fruit, cheese and cereal, a nicely done version of a typical European spread. There's no WiFi anywhere in the area, and you won't find tourist shops. The hotel's restaurant is the best one in the village, so bring plenty of camera batteries and memory cards and enjoy the scenery. Park at the hotel and walk around the village. The narrow streets are two-way, and in some spots you have to fold in both side mirrors to fit between the buildings. When cars meet, one may have to reverse several metres around a bend to find room to pass. Some corners are very steep and nearly 160 degrees, so driving beyond the hotel takes nerves of steel and a tiny car.
