Bed Breakfast I Tre Scalini

Cristina made everything easy, including sorting out transport for us, and she served lovely breakfasts. The location was great and the whole place was spotless. We had a wonderful stay, thanks, Cristina!

The location was the one thing we appreciated: it's very close to the center and especially handy for the bus stop. Everything else left us disappointed. We stayed from August 3rd to 10th after booking in April based on the positive reviews and website description, but our experience didn't match them. The place felt very rundown and poorly cared for. Breakfast was meager, just a few fresh croissants, no savory options, and no fresh bread. The terrace couldn't be used, and we would have liked to eat there instead of having to look for a restaurant every evening. In our room, the shutters needed force to close, and a rubber band blocked the shower slider so its height couldn't be adjusted. What a shame. We go on holiday there once a year, and this trip was a disaster.

The bus made it easy to reach the magnificent beaches without needing a car, and the boat trip they organized gave us a wonderful day. Cristina made us feel at home for the whole week, and we can't thank her enough. She kindly did her best to meet all my breakfast needs. They shared their love for their homeland with us, and made us feel like family. It's a memory we'll keep forever.

The terrace is a lovely place to spend time, with a sea view, a grill, tables and chairs, and even a hammock for sunbathing. The rooms are a bit dated, though. What made the stay for me was meeting Cristina and her husband. Cristina was especially good company, since she came by most often and made me feel at home. Breakfast runs from 8 to 10, but if you want coffee or something else during the day, just ask her and she'll happily provide it. For special needs, the bar opens at 7, or breakfast can be brought to your room the day before. She's also willing to do the shopping and takes care with intolerances and allergens. In my experience, this is the best B&B in all of Sardinia, and I'll definitely come back if I'm in the area. I'd stayed at several Sardinian B&Bs before and had awful experiences from north to south, so I was impressed to find Sardinians like this in Sardinia.
