Casa Sirena Stresa

Everything was within walking distance, and our room was clean and warm enough for sleeping in October. There’s also a place to park the car not far from the house. A very good place to stay.

The top-floor apartment was clean and had a very nice view. The furnishings were useful and comprehensive, and there was sun protection. Getting around without a car was difficult: there’s no public transport up there, and it takes 20-30 minutes to walk to the town center. There were no e-scooter or moped rentals in town, and we didn’t find information leaflets about the town or activities. There was also a dog barking nearby.

We had a fantastic welcome from the very kind host. The apartment is spacious, with a stunning view, and its central location is really convenient. Highly recommended :)

The lake view is beautiful, but we had to cancel the accommodation once we arrived because it didn’t meet our expectations. The narrow, very steep access streets aren’t suitable for every car or driver, and the unpaved driveway to the house takes sure footing. Inside, the furnishings are worn. Getting to the roof terrace means climbing a very steep, narrow spiral staircase, so the place isn’t suitable for elderly people, tall people, or families with small children. The accommodation description should be updated to make this clear.
