The huge window looking out over Lago di Maggiore really made the place for us. It’s a cozy, clean apartment in a quiet neighbourhood, and we enjoyed our stay a lot. Check-in is handled at a hotel about 500m away. We’d be glad to come back.

The view was gorgeous, and the room had plenty of space, with a large shower, bathroom and walk-in closet. Check-in is at hotel flora, very close to the pier for visiting the other islands.

We had a terrible stay after jewellery we’d left on the bedside table went missing while the room was being cleaned during our day out. Management showed total disregard and couldn’t give us any answers.

Breakfast was fantastic, and the hosts were so friendly. I wouldn’t bother having breakfast at Hotel Flora instead. In summer, eating outside with a view of the islands must be lovely. The turn-in from the main road is easy to miss. Just go through the gate with yellow walls on both sides, it’s fine. :-)
