We stopped in for coffee and had a really nice time. The place was empty, so we could sit wherever we liked, and the view was beautiful. The waiter was friendly, though he got our order wrong. Prices are about what other cafes and restaurants in the area charge, which is higher than usual, but you’d expect that here. A nice spot to sit back with a drink. Recommended.

The seafood was excellent, and the lake and hills above Stresa made a great view. Ricardo and the staff were courteous and very friendly. I was surprised by how much I liked the fried “minnows”(?) from the lake as an appetizer. We left full and happy. Prices are what you’d expect on the island, and there was a nice cat around too.

We had a lovely shaded patio view over the water. The cacio e pepe came from a cheese wheel at the table, which was a nice little touch.

The view over the lake and Boromeo palace is the best. Everyone was friendly, and the desserts and drinks were really good. Don’t miss the experience!
