You can find what you need on the island here.
Right in the center of Ginostra, this general store has groceries and local products, and you can stop in for a coffee. The owner, Gianlupo, also arranges evening boat trips to see Stromboli erupt. They're reasonably priced and unforgettable, though the tours are only in Italian. If you speak Italian, seeing the volcano from the sea is a fantastic experience.
The place was so peaceful and quiet, and Stromboli is only a short water taxi ride away. Ginostra itself is beautiful, and Gianluca and Monika were wonderful hosts who went well beyond what you'd normally expect. I'd highly recommend this Airbnb, it's a wonderful place.
You can find groceries, T-shirts, sarongs, and little souvenirs at Gianluca's bazaar, which really is the center of life in Ginostra. He's relaxed, kind, and helpful, and seems to capture the calm feel of the place. There are sunset Aeolian aperitifs too, which I highly recommend. Gianluca also arranges trips around the island and to the volcano, rents canoes, and helps people find somewhere to stay. If you're in Ginostra, it's a must-see.
