Sylvia and Fernando were such warm, thoughtful hosts. They made sure I had what I needed and were always there if I needed help. Sylvia cooked delicious meals, and even let me join in with the cooking. I shared almost every meal with them, and it felt more like being a friend than a guest. They also shared useful local tips. I first booked three nights, then enjoyed it so much I stayed for a whole week. I’d suggest calling them directly to book rather than going through Airbnb or another platform. The house is set in beautiful countryside, with a panoramic view that’s especially lovely at sunset. The rooms have a rustic, vintage feel, and Fernando designed every corner. Sylvia chose the kitchen equipment, which is good quality and complete, so there’s no need to bring anything if you plan to cook. The apartment felt like a cosy, clean home, not a standard hotel room. The beds were comfortable, and I fell asleep easily. It’s a good option for couples or families, with two equipped and comfortable studios. They have three pets of their own, so bringing pets may be fine, but check with the hosts first. Bus service to the village of Coppe from Terni is manageable, with, I think, 6-7 connections and a ride of 40 minutes to an hour. Having a car makes it straightforward.
