The location and lake view are excellent, but the dirty conditions and the landlady's way of handling complaints were unacceptable. We booked the upstairs apartment. Check-in was easy through a hotel a few doors away. Driving up to the entrance was a bit tight, but manageable for loading and unloading. The apartment is spacious and quiet, with a nice view over the lake and rooftops. Clean it was not. There were remnants in the toilet from the previous guest, a broken seat, and a shower drain full of hair and mucus that clogged and flooded the bathroom. The drain looked as if it had never been cleaned, though it was easy to access. The toothbrush holder seemed untouched, and surfaces all over the apartment were dirty. Mattress protectors had obvious yellow stains and clearly hadn't been washed in ages. There was hair and staining in the fridge, on the windowsills, on the bathroom bin lid, and traces of past guests everywhere. Dust and insects too. I attached photos because they say more than words. At 35 degrees Celsius, not even leaving a bottle of water in the fridge was disgraceful for an apartment in this price range without air conditioning. The suggested parking is a steep 500-meter climb, very strenuous in summer heat and a problem for anyone who can't walk well. When I raised these issues, the landlady seemed to lack basic complaint-handling skills. Her ironic response and inaction toward a guest were unprofessional.
