We’ll definitely be back! The rooms were spotless, and all the food was homemade. Since the hotel is run by the family, it felt like an authentic Supinese experience. They were also incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Easily the best hotel in Supino.

We loved the delicious minestrone and wonderful dinner the wife cooked as chef. The family sat at tables beside us and shared lots of entertaining stories. From their warm welcome to the extra attention they gave us, they made our stay at this agriturismo feel really special.

Il Castagneto was a peaceful, relaxing base for exploring Lazio, including the often-overlooked area between Rome and Naples. We got tips on places to visit, from caverns and national parks to castles and the world-famous Ninfa Gardens. We’re foreigners, but the whole family made us feel at home. The three boys and their father, Domenico, could easily be ambassadors for Italy. The meals were fabulous, and Lucia's cooking still brings a smile to our faces. We only wish we’d had more time to try everything. The fresh local food and service were superb. Our room was clean and air-conditioned, and WiFi was available around the property. We’ll come back for Lucia's cooking and the care the whole family showed us.
