The place itself is beautiful and pleasant, but the host was neither welcoming nor efficient. She left us waiting on the street for 40 minutes in 40°C heat, supposedly so we could fill out a questionnaire. She knew we were at the door but didn’t answer our messages. We had to call before she would even open up. It was extremely disappointing, and she didn’t apologize for how she treated us. A car is essential for getting around here. There’s no public transport; on foot it’s a 30-minute walk, then a 15-minute bus ride.

The host family is very friendly and helpful, and the house is set up nicely for a relaxing break with a partner or family. There’s a pool with a hot tub, plus a lovely garden with loungers, chairs, and tables. It’s a good base for exploring Salento. I highly recommend it!

After a day at the beach, the hydromassage pool and garden are just right for unwinding. The location is also handy for discovering Salento. The property feels new and is kept in meticulous shape, and the family who welcomed us were wonderful and so friendly. Pure relaxation, definitely worth trying!
