Il Maestro e l'Innamorata

Sutri has plenty of character, history, and excellent food, with an active local community. We were lucky to catch two memorable events during our stay, Note Romantica and the Infiorata del Corpus Domini. There are also so many towns and sights within a 30-45 minute drive that you could spend weeks exploring the region and still find hidden gems. We had a wonderful workation, with time for both remote work and vacation, and would highly recommend it for a peaceful, authentic Italian stay with thoughtful hosts. Simonetta and Franco were friendly, helpful, and fluent in English, and their local recommendations were spot on. We stayed in a clean, organized, comfortable private apartment on the ground floor, with its own entrance and a fully equipped kitchen that made a longer visit easy. Even on the hottest summer days it stayed pleasantly cool inside, with air conditioning available for the really hot spells. The big garden felt like a hidden kingdom, full of trees and greenery. Our child and dog loved playing there, and we enjoyed quiet evenings with a glass of wine under the trees.
