We can’t wait to come back. The meal was excellent, and staying overnight meant we could enjoy their wine without worrying about driving. Their Tuscan recipes reminded us of our grandmothers’ cooking, full of character and authenticity. The ragù brought back lovely memories of family celebrations, the pasta was exquisite, and the sauce was generous and flavorful. The portions are hearty, the ingredients clearly high quality, and every bite was a pleasure. We’d booked a room at their B&B and chose to eat at the restaurant too. It turned out to be the best decision, giving us a particularly vivid dining experience. The room smelled clean and peaceful, and moving from there to the dining room felt natural. Kitchen aromas had been filling the whole place since early afternoon, building a lovely sense of anticipation. We were welcomed warmly, almost like at home. Highly recommended for dinner or as part of an overnight stay. It’s a great choice for a fully relaxing weekend in a genuine, family-friendly atmosphere.

I like supporting local restaurants, but I can’t accept being ripped off or paying prices that don’t match what you get. A porcini mushroom cap for €18? And bread we never ordered, €2 a slice for pieces the size of a baguette’s diameter, not its length, so €8 in all. We ordered tagliatelle con tartufo but got porcini for €18. For two people, €90 is way too much. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. I’d be ashamed to charge customers like that. Never again!

I can’t leave a positive review, even though the server was very kind. We spent €97, which felt really expensive, and I hope the owners find this feedback useful. I booked through The Fork but didn’t receive the 20% discount. The carpaccio was also missing the porcini mushrooms shown in the menu and pictured on the receipt. The wild boar with polenta wasn’t very good. To be fair, the server did ask whether they wanted more wild boar, but the polenta came as a cube and there was too little. We also had fried zucchini flowers, a glass of red wine, tiramisu, and pear and chocolate dessert. I didn’t rate the rooms because I didn’t stay there, only ate at the restaurant. I gave it three stars, and I think that’s generous.

I feel bad giving only two stars because the place is nice, even if it’s out of the way, and the staff are friendly. But everything we tried was tasteless and badly cooked. The roast potatoes were more boiled than roasted and tasted like plastic. Portions were really small too. Prices were average, but I wouldn’t recommend it.
