There are quite a lot of stairs, but they were manageable. The top apartment has a sea view, and the place is near Coop for groceries as well as the center. Sometimes the water pressure dropped, and the toilet had ventilation problems and stayed a bit damp.

The hosts were helpful over WhatsApp, and having a grocery store nearby was a plus. The room was very clean and arranged with good taste, making it a great place for a short getaway. As seems to be the case elsewhere in Sicily, the room fridge wasn’t cold here either.

Ernesto was very nice and had useful suggestions for the city and nearby activities. Breakfast was really good, especially his wonderful scrambled eggs and great cappuccino. We’re very grateful for everything. The place is near Porta Messina, at one end of Taormina’s main street, and close to the main bus station.

The host was extremely helpful and suggested parking at Lumbi, which has a free shuttle bus to the city center and is 3min from the accommodation. The price-quality report was super good, and we strongly recommend it. The location is right in the middle of Taormina, close to everything but still tucked away in a peaceful area with amazing sea views.

The view from the room and from breakfast on the roof was amazing, and worth the many stairs you have to climb. Breakfast was amazing too, and the host was wonderful. I’d stay here again.
