The sea view is stunning, and the breakfast Alessandra prepared on the terrace was wonderful. The hosts were so kind, and the place felt warm and family-like, as if we’d known each other for ages. It felt completely natural to be there. We enjoyed two nights in this beautiful Taormina accommodation. The family manages and decorates everything with care, and each detail feels thoughtfully designed and handmade. If I return to Taormina, this will be my first choice.

Marco, Alessandra and the family were very welcoming, and we had a great time. The place was clean, and we enjoyed the lovely breakfast and our sea view. The breakfast terrace has a beautiful view too.

Alessandra gave us really personal support over WhatsApp and made sure we arrived safely. She also let us check in early after our early morning flight, which we really appreciated. Her suggestions for places to visit and where to park were spot on during high season. We had a lovely time in Taormina, with a warm, friendly welcome from Alessandra at Sottocoperta. The location is convenient for the train and bus stations, but we didn’t hear any noise from the trains. We loved having breakfast and coffee each morning on the terrace, with its homely feel and lovely view.

The owners brought so much warmth and care, and the place was clean and full of atmosphere. One of my best bed and breakfast experiences. It felt like more than just a hotel.

The terrace view was the best part, and breakfast was great. Dario drove us up every morning and suggested routes and which sights to visit. The hosts were amazing and helped us plan our days in Taormina and nearby areas. The cappuccino was the best I’ve had so far, even after two weeks in Italy. There are also two cats and a pup wandering around the property, which was a lovely bonus. Our room was very clean and much bigger than I expected. I think they may have upgraded us. We just wish we could’ve stayed longer!
