Really beautiful.

Parking can be tricky here, but the hotel is well placed for getting to Pescasseroli's center. The lounge is a nice spot and even has a pool table, though you may have to wait your turn. Service is good. The rooms feel a few years old, and breakfast does well with cakes, while the savory choices are somewhat limited.

A guarantee. Alessia and her family make you feel like you're one of their own, greeting you so warmly. I went along with my mother for her summer holiday and stopped in for dinner a few times. The food and service were impeccable, and they paid attention to every need.

Breakfast was okay, though the savory options were ridiculous, and that's what I usually go for. The rest of the stay was a letdown. I travel often for work and choose four-star places to be comfortable, but this didn't feel like one. The whole hotel, rooms included, had a strong old smell, and nobody was there to greet us at reception. Our room was shabby and nothing like the website photos. The fridge was unplugged, there was no complimentary water, and the shower was broken. I'm 6'3", and the spray only reached my belly button because the showerhead wasn't lined up. There were long hairs in it, too. I know problems can come up, but calling this four stars feels like a joke at guests' expense.
