Casa Domus Nazarena

This is a vacation home run by nuns, with spacious, clean rooms. I’d suggest clearer directions to the rooms across the different parts of the property, and making sure every guest gets a key.

We were a group and booked nearly all the rooms. They were very clean, comfortable, and convenient, and the property is just a two-minute walk from Taormina’s main street. The nuns even let us leave our cars behind the property. Sister Elvira greeted us so warmly and kindly that we immediately felt at home. Breakfast had a little bit of everything and was just right. We’ll definitely come back!

The rooms and bathrooms are unusually large for the area, and the building has been beautifully renovated. It’s spread over two floors and has free Wi-Fi, an internal garden, and a breakfast room. Breakfast is optional, with a small extra charge if you include it. This religious hospitality B&B opened just over a year ago. Given the quality and the location, the value for money is excellent. It’s only 50 meters from Porta Messina, the entrance to Taormina’s historic center. Calling ahead to check room availability is always a good idea.

We were there for eight days, from May 11th to May 19th, 2024, right in the center of Taormina. The rooms were spacious and very clean, and breakfast was hearty. Great value for money.
