The kindness here is what I’ll remember most. My son left his AirPods behind, and Charles and his wife arranged for another Argentinian guest to bring them back to us. Such a thoughtful gesture. They also made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived, served a delicious traditional Italian breakfast, and shared great suggestions for Taormina. Having breakfast on the terrace with that sea view was a special start to the day. The historic centre is an easy walk away too. We’d happily come back and recommend staying here.

We felt looked after the whole time, especially as women travelling alone. Charles is attentive and very intelligent, and a great conversationalist. The breakfast is HUGE, and there’s free tea and coffee. Once you know the route, Corso Umberto is less than a 10-minute walk, with a supermarket and ATM along the way. The views are stunning. For me, this is the best place to stay in Taormina.

The sunrise from our room was spectacular. We were going to skip breakfast so we could leave early for Etna, but the host insisted and kindly prepared it for us at 06:30. We had a fabulous stay.

We spent as much time as we could on the terrace and in the living area, both were wonderful, with one of the best views in Taormina. The room was spacious, comfortable, and very clean. The host made us feel at home. He was warm and genuinely caring, offered us coffee, and took time to explain the city and the main things to see and do. His tips helped us make the most of our visit. Breakfast with that fantastic view was a treat too. We’d gladly return.

This place felt like a beautiful home with its own soul and energy. The host clearly cares about guests, and you can feel that in the details.
