A great spot, especially if you’re taking the buses, which stop about 20 metres from the hotel. It’s cheap and cheerful, and the staff are helpful, though they aren’t always on site. The air conditioning made a bit of noise, but it was steady enough that it didn’t bother me. No other complaints.

It costs less than many other places in this heavily touristed town, but the hotel is very basic. It’s a one-star place in a converted school residence, with no charm or character. Breakfast was an unappetizing, unhealthy pastry with cream. The staff were extremely helpful and supportive, though. Thank you, Francesco and Luca.

The location is ideal, within walking distance of the city centre and the funicular down to the beach. The rooms were clean and spacious, and everyone was warm and kind. They greeted us with a smile and helped with anything we needed.

We felt safe walking back from the city centre at night, and the location was handy for the bus station, funicular, and a short walk to the centre. The steps down to the beach were nearby, about three minutes away. The staff were lovely and recommended good places to visit. On arrival, they gave us a complimentary bottle of wine, which was a nice touch. The room was very clean and had a comfortable bed, window shutters, and air conditioning. Road noise didn’t disturb us at night. They offered daily cleaning and changed the sheets and towels, and provided shampoo and shower gel. Breakfast was very good, with different options each day. The coffee was freshly made and as good as café coffee. Thanks to everyone for making our stay so pleasant and comfortable.
