Palazzo Vecchio Taormina

The people at Palazzo Vecchio made our stay: Claudio and Miriam were warm, attentive, and always happy to help, while Andrea and Samuele at the bar were wonderful company. We loved chatting with them about Sicilian culture, everyday life, and local spots. Sitting with a cocktail and the Taormina views made for a lovely time, and the roof bar has the best views in town. The restaurant served some of the best meals in the area too. Our Sea View Deluxe Junior Suite had an incredible view to wake up to each morning. The hotel itself is stylish and beautiful, right in the middle of Taormina’s old town. We can’t wait to return!

The service at Monsu Restaurant and Blue Sky Lounge was excellent during my two-night stay. The wait staff and front desk were attentive and worked to make things easy and memorable. I even met the owner, a kind and gracious man. Thank you, Stefano, Miriam, and Claudio, for your warm welcome. Palazzo Vecchio is a historic building off the main pedestrian street, reached by a staircase, with 12 beautifully decorated rooms and suites. I stayed in Deluxe Junior Suite Seaview 402, whose Moroccan design reminded me of Taormina’s Arabian architectural influences. The room was clean and everything worked: the switches and outlets were easy to find, the hair dryer was good, and there was a deep tub, a shower, a ceiling fan, and reliable air conditioning. The sheets were unbelievably soft and luxurious. I hope I can return one day.

The ocean views from the beautifully decorated rooms are exquisite, and the rooftop bar makes the BEST cocktails. Just off Taormina’s main street, this high-end boutique hotel has an exceptional team. I felt at home and welcome as soon as I checked in. I’d visit again and will definitely recommend it.

Breakfast was a real highlight, served à la carte with classical music playing, and our room was sparkling clean throughout. We also loved winding down on the rooftop with cocktails and beautiful city views. The staff were kind and attentive, and the whole place has the old-school luxury feel I love. Palazzo Vecchio made our trip feel special. It’s charming and right in the heart of Taormina, with the cable car to the beach within walking distance. And about the steps people mention, our 22-month-old managed them almost every day unless she was asleep.
