Breakfast was fresh, made with local ingredients and herbs from the garden, and beautifully put together. There's only one room at this B&B, so you get your own garden and living room while staying with the two fantastic owners. They'll help with what you need around the clock. The privacy is great, and famous guests could stay here without being disturbed. Philip and Umberto are there for you if you're interested in history, culture, or local restaurants. The Wi-Fi tested at 20 Mbps in both directions, which was fine for us, and the location is good. It's much better than any five-star hotel I've stayed in, with personal service better than Burj Al Arab. All the little details matter here, so take good care of the property and its owners. Not the place for noisy, uncultivated people. I'd say it's best suited to couples, history lovers, and famous or wealthy guests.

Taomia is easy to explore from this great B&B, and the place itself is stunning. It was a fairly unique experience. Philip and Umberto are more like friends than hosts, the breakfast tastes great, the beds are comfortable, and we had stimulating conversations.

We spent nine nights with Philip and Umberto when we visited Taormina in September 2021. They take wonderful care of their guests, from the tasteful decor and attention to detail to the beautifully landscaped garden. We enjoyed the conversations with them, and they recommended great excursions and made restaurant reservations for us. Staying here really feels like staying with friends. After 12 days with Philip and Umberto, we miss them every day and want to say thank you, thank you, thank you. They were warm-hearted, incredibly helpful, and their hospitality seemed boundless. The place was exceptionally clean and comfortable, better than many, if not all, places we've stayed. The shared breakfast was unbeatable, all homemade and fantastic. A glass of Prosecco in their beautiful garden, with Sicily, Taormina, Philip, and Umberto around us, is pure relaxation. They seem to anticipate everything you might need, whether that's a special excursion, a fine restaurant, shopping tips, and more. We recommend Rocca Castello wholeheartedly and without reservation. The two days we spent with Philip and Umberto were the highlight of our trip to Sicily. There aren't enough words to thank them for the care, help, and attention they gave us. They contacted us before we arrived, then showed us around an amazing house full of beauty and love, almost like a museum, and made a large part of it available to us. They helped with parking next to the car, choosing restaurants, arranging a trip to Mount Etna, and registering for a corona test. Above all, they gave us their company, with long, pleasant, interesting conversations. What more could you ask for?
