Taodomus Boutique Hotel

The staff were friendly, professional, highly qualified, and very attentive. Breakfast is vegetarian, with plenty of dishes that are kept replenished, but there are no cured meats or other meat products. Eggs and coffee are made fresh to each guest’s order. In the evening, the breakfast room becomes a restaurant just for hotel guests. Taodomus Boutique Hotel is on the pedestrian Corso Umberto I, a short walk from Porta Catania, which makes arrival convenient. It’s in a five-story building with 10 rooms, two of them with sea views. Reception is on the ground floor, while the top-floor breakfast room looks out over the sea. There’s an elevator for luggage. Our room was clean and welcoming, and both water pressure and hot water temperature met international standards. A very pleasant place to stay, highly recommended.

I stayed three nights, and the location worked well. The highlight for my partner and me was Serhii, the bartender. He served us drinks each evening and explained so naturally why he thought some drinks were better than others. Go have a drink at the bar and ask for Serhii.

After a long day in Taormina, I wanted somewhere to sit, have a couple of cocktails, and take in a view. I happened to walk past this place and was glad I stopped. It’s a beautiful view, the kind that makes you slow down and enjoy being there. A relaxing spot with great drinks, and I don’t think you’ll regret it.

We visited in summer 2023, and I still remember how good the experience was. The front desk and dining staff were friendly and helpful, and our room was clean, comfortable, and updated. Breakfast was served on the rooftop, where we also enjoyed the sunset views. Though it’s officially a three-star boutique hotel, the service and quality felt above that level.
