Villa Al Duomo

We had quick communication with the hosts, and they gave us a list of good restaurants and sightseeing spots. The outdoor pool and hot tub were really nice, too. Our clean room had a private terrace, in a lovely apartment in Taormina’s old town. Public parking at Porta Taormina costs 25 euros a day and is a three-minute walk away.

Very clean and good value, with an excellent location in a lovely part of the village. It was a little hard to find at first, though. The split-level room felt somewhat claustrophobic, and the walls are thin. A thin door is all that separates the bedroom from the adjoining apartment’s kitchen. We got quite a rude wake-up when the visiting neighbor’s child kept dropping a metal bowl on the kitchen floor.

The digital information sent beforehand was enough to help us find everything, and although we didn’t see the owner, he was always just a message away. We loved the split-level setup, and the place made us feel comfortable right away. The garden isn’t spacious, but it was big enough for our stay, and the jacuzzi was a nice bonus. Right in the heart of Taormina, one of Sicily’s most romantic places. Such a great location. We’d definitely recommend staying here. Thank you.

Our family loved the villa and its facilities, and Livio was very generous with his time. It’s a peecfect spot in Taormina, with good bars, cannoli, granita and Michelin restaurants literally just a few steps away. We’ll be back!
