Hotel Villa Belvedere

The location was a favorite, with stunning views and a quieter setting, while the main center was just a quick 5-10 minute stroll away. We loved our stay at hotel Villa Belvedere. The staff were wonderful, and breakfast was thorough every morning. Lunch at the pool restaurant was tasty, and they easily accommodated gluten free food. After I slipped and sprained my ankle, the staff quickly brought ice and a wheelchair, then found us a room for an extra night. We absolutely loved it and can’t recommend Hotel Villa Belvedere enough. Bravo!

There’s a nice little pool in the garden, with a bar and food, and the staff were so friendly and attentive. Breakfast was really good, too. The hotel is old school in the best way: it doesn’t try to be a seven-star place with everything going on, but what it does offer is done superbly. The rooms are simple but comfortable, with an excellent large, firm bed, and a balcony with great views of Etna. It’s well placed for Taormina’s attractions. I only wish dinner were available here, but it isn’t at the moment.

My fiancé and I had an incredible time here. The staff, breakfasts, and everything else were beautiful and nicely done. The value is amazing for the price, with five-star service at a fraction of what the big-name hotels nearby cost. A must-stay if you’re visiting Taormina.

The terrace and breakfast room have an incredible view, and the grounds are a beautiful park and garden. Staff were so nice and the service was perfect throughout. Our clean, stylish room, n37, surprised us with two bathrooms. It’s a pleasant 10-minute walk uphill, with some steps, from the center, and there are plenty of local bars and restaurants nearby. My 82-year-old father managed the walk without any problem. We couldn’t have picked a better place.
