La Via del Mare was our best stay in Italy. The host and her husband were so friendly, and she shared lots of useful information. They even made us an extra vegan breakfast, and it was delicious! The room was neat and clean. It’s about five minutes to the city and five minutes to the beach. The service was way better than at five-star hotels. I definitely recommend staying here in Taormina.
We’d definitely come back to Casa Via del Mare. It’s ideally placed between the beach and town, and Emanuela was fantastic. She shared brilliant tips and arranged a lovely breakfast for us each morning.
Warm, cozy, and in a wonderful spot, right between the city centre and the beach, with a lovely sea view. La via del mare was perfect for our Taormina stay. If you’re deciding where to book, I’d recommend it.
The little flat was clean and tidy, with a minimal kitchen. It’s close to the funicular and the sea, and there was plenty of parking during low season. If you’re bringing lots of luggage, you’ll need to get used to the space.
The room was larger and nicer than it looked in the pictures, and the view was stunning. It’s within walking distance of the Greek theater and historic sites, and free parking was easy to find. Breakfast could be better, but everything else was superb.
