It’s a solid stay for the price. The location sits between the old town and the city center, which also means the area isn’t quiet. The host is very friendly and replies right away on Booking.com or WhatsApp. Given the price and the apparent circumstances, it was perfectly fine.

We ended up sleeping somewhere else because of the pre-Christmas deadline. The room was dark and neglected, with almost no daylight, peeling paint, and a supposed bathroom that was an extremely narrow, dirty strip with no comfort. When I plugged in my charger, the socket came out of the wall, which says a lot about the quality of the place. Never again, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. I also don’t understand the false 8.5 rating on Booking.

For that price, this place is completely inadequate. The bathroom is so cramped that the sink has to be in the room, like it was until the 1970s. The furnishings badly need updating too. And if there’s no breakfast, can you really call it a B&B?

The owner is friendly, but that doesn’t make up for how old the property is. The bathroom is barely usable, and the furniture feels randomly put together. Breakfast isn’t included for some unexplained reason. For what you get, the price is absolutely not worth it.

The large room is on a raised ground floor, basically a low first floor, with two cafes right underneath. It’s a special place, well placed for reaching both the old and new town. The owner is very nice and replies to WhatsApp straight away. Thank you! :) :)
