Emera Wine Resort Claudio Quarta

The sea and lovely beaches are only two minutes away, with private and public access, and you can also take a guided tour of the winery. We traveled with two children and would recommend it for families. Everything at the property and in the rooms was exceptionally clean. The farmhouse has charming old features alongside high-quality finishes, and our suite had a private pool on the terrace. In the courtyard restaurant, with its atmospheric lighting and homey feel, we had traditional Apulian dishes, from appetizers through desserts, paired with wines from the cellar. Breakfast offered excellent fresh local food, both sweet and savory. A special mention for the restaurant and breakfast staff, who welcomed and guided us, shared advice, and always had a smile. They made us feel at home.

We had a guided cellar tour, then a tasting and set-menu dinner. The setting was stunning, and the staff were friendly and attentive, even looking after my dog's needs. The traditional food was excellent and so was the wine selection. Highly recommended!

We shared an incredible stay at the Emera resort with friends. Every minimalist room was beautiful and had a private terrace with a solarium and whirlpool tub. Dinner in the estate courtyard was excellent traditional food served informally, with a relaxed feel that's rare to find these days. The wines were superb. Congratulations ❤️

Welcome to Lizzano! We got to know the property when it was just starting out and loved the wines, from the simplest to the most complex. Visiting the Resort and new rooms at Tenuta Emera on such an extraordinary evening was a privilege. Restoring the rock church and creating these dreamlike rooms, Claudio Quarta and his daughter Alessandra have given our region a magical place. The architects have turned the winemakers' ideas into warm, welcoming spaces that call to mind Magna Graecia. It's a place to savor Salento's slower pace with a southern mindset.
