It already felt welcoming as soon as we came through the entrance, almost like being at home. There’s a lovely spot to pitch a tent beneath the olive trees, and the campsite has the basics covered: toilets, electricity, water and hot showers. Doriana is a very friendly host. One of the best campsites I’ve come across, highly recommended.

We stayed for three nights on this working farm. Each of the 12 pitches costs €25 a night and has EHU and its own water point. The toilets are kept in good shape, and the hot showers are really nice. There’s also a farm restaurant where we had delicious food. Town is about a 25-minute walk away, though there’s no shade along the way, so it gets very hot. A heads-up if you bring dogs: those spiky seeds get tangled in their fur and are a nightmare to remove. See photos.

We left wishing we could come back straight away. Our campervan had a level pitch with water and electricity, set among olive trees and flower-filled meadows. The hostess gave us a lovely welcome, and everyone we met was pleasant. Dinner was a treat: homemade fettuccine, delicious homemade sausages, a tagliere and house wine. We were utterly charmed by this little local Italian dream. Grazie mille!

The owners were so warm and welcoming, and the family-run restaurant served excellent food. They even helped us the next day by repairing a side window on our camper that had broken before we arrived. Great job! There’s a camper area with water and electricity, and the view over Tarquinia and the surrounding fields is lovely. We had a great experience and warmly recommend it.

A lovely spot in an olive garden, easy to get into, and no pollets for service 👍 The pappardelle with wild boar ragu was good.
