We had a fantastic stay, and the Rossi family made it feel special. This family-run organic vineyard is a great spot if you want to get away into the Tuscan countryside, listen to the birds and bees, and take in the views by the pool. Florence, Siena, and the surrounding area are easy to reach, and essential shops are less than 10 minutes away. We'd definitely recommend it.

The wines were great across the range, and after we bought six bottles they delivered them to the campsite the next day. We spent well over two hours there in the afternoon, touring the cellars, learning about the vineyard's organic approach, and enjoying the food and drink. We'd been staying at a nearby campsite and wanted a wine tasting; the campsite recommended Il Bacio after prices at the larger vineyards seemed crazy. Cycling over was an adventure in itself, so approach from the "easy side". Would I go again? You bet. Would I stay there? Absolutely.

What made our visit to Il Bacio memorable was the genuine welcome and the chance to hear the elder talk about winemaking, its challenges, and the family's philosophy. You could feel the care and passion behind each bottle. We tasted the wines with parmesan and local products, in a relaxed, unfussy setting. It felt like sharing a real moment with people, not a touristy tasting. If you're in Chianti, this is a special human experience.

We just turned up on a whim to see about buying wine and were welcomed like we were at home. We got to try three wines with some cheese, and the wine, company, view, and super-friendly dog were all amazing. We bought two bottles, though with another two months of travel ahead we'd have liked to get more. I'd recommend it to anyone.
