The rooms aren't luxurious, but they're spacious and incredibly clean. We felt right at home, and what you get for the price is hard to beat. Breakfast at the B&B was absolutely delicious. We keep kosher, and the staff helpfully prepared some food for us using our pans. The location also works really well for day trips around Tuscany, with Castiglione del Lago close by and worth a visit. Can't wait to return soon! :)

The ladies were happy to accommodate our food preferences, and breakfast had loads of lovely sweets. We felt like we were staying at our grandma's. The manager greeted us and escorted us into the gated parking, then we walked past the large pool to meet the staff. Make a dinner reservation at the restaurant, you may well have the best meal of your trip. // The swedes

I wouldn't recommend booking here. I had to cancel our stay because of a personal issue. I booked through booking.com and asked the owner to split the cancellation fee 50% 50%, but he was very strict and unpleasant. He just said it was non-refundable and hung up. I can only imagine how he treats guests who actually arrive.

It's a great base for exploring Tuscany, and you can walk to wineries, restaurants, bars, and shops in town. We had a lovely stay. The restaurant on site is fantastic and reasonably priced. Mrs Katia deserves a special mention: she manages breakfast, lunch, and dinner and still finds time to talk with guests, in just about every language. We'd recommend it to everyone.

Staying at Antica Pieve felt like being with our Italian family. The food had that family-dinner feeling, and Katia can point you toward what you'd like to eat if you ask her. It's also close to several notable places, including San Gimignano and Firenze. We'll definitely book here again when we return to Chianti.
