Torre di Badia

We spent four nights at Torre Di Badia and enjoyed having our morning tea and coffee out on the patio. Breakfast offered plenty to choose from, including a hot dish, cereal, homemade yogurt and pastries. The place feels rustic but was very clean, with nice amenities, and the location worked well. Our host was quick to respond before we arrived and very accommodating. There are a couple of good restaurants within walking distance, and we also toured the nearby monastery. You’ll enjoy your stay.

The setting in the heart of Passignano made it easy to head out for walks or find good food just steps from the door. It’s a small town, and the Abby’s bell-tower is close enough to hear. The location also worked beautifully for day trips around Tuscany and Florence. Francesca and her family were fantastic hosts, and the B&B was immaculate with a perfect breakfast.

This was my favorite place of the whole trip around Europe. Francesca was a wonderful host, and Angela made sure we were spoiled every morning. Such a lovely spot for visiting Florence and exploring Tuscany.

Francesca was such a friendly, helpful and accommodating host. She makes most of the breakfast herself, and it was out of this world. I spent two hours there each day with coffee and food, and she never minded. The fish restaurant at the top of the hill was great, too. It’s a bit farther from other places in Tuscany, but absolutely worth the drive. Get a car and stay here! I’ve spent 20 weeks in Italy over my life, and this is one of the best places I’ve stayed. We had the Galileo room, and the online photos don’t do it justice. The rooftop has a stunning 360-degree view, and the modern bathroom, great bed and views from every window made the price well worth it. You won’t be disappointed.
