Palazzo Casto Relais

The breakfast buffet had everything we needed, and the staff were very polite. There's a nice pool for relaxing, too. We stayed just one night in this pretty hotel in a quiet little town, and wished we could have stayed longer. Our room was spacious and clean, though the bed was a bit too hard and short.

There's a handy free parking lot behind the property, and the town centre location is quiet despite being so central. Taviano also makes a good base for exploring all of Salento. The property itself is beautiful and very clean, and our deluxe double room had comfortable beds and pillows, plus plenty of space. Towels were changed daily, which added to the quality of the stay. Breakfast had a good variety, although we often had to ask for items like fruit that were already out, since staff didn't replenish them. We'll definitely come back.

Right in the heart of Taviano, Palazzo Casto Relais is within walking distance of shops and restaurants, and well placed for visiting Salento's most beautiful beaches. The staff were attentive, friendly, and helpful, and made us feel at home. The residence brings together historic character and modern comforts, with elegant details throughout. Rooms are spacious, clean, and well equipped. The garden and outdoor hydromassage pool offered a relaxing break, and breakfast was generous, varied, and included local products and options for different needs. A memorable stay in a calm, charming place that I recommend without hesitation.

The staff were the best part for us, always friendly and available. When three of our group fell ill, the owner was especially kind and helped us through a difficult time. Six of us stayed here last year and found it quiet, clean, comfortable, and beautiful. The rooms had high ceilings and were kept in excellent condition. There was also a gorgeous pool by the entrance where we could relax with an aperitif. Highly recommended 👏
