Residence La Perla - Quarzo

We stayed in the ground-floor Ambra apartment during the last week of July on a Groupon. My partner is tall, so we needed a bed without a footboard, and the owner kindly removed the bed rail to help with that. The apartment is lovely and would suit a couple or a family. It has a well-stocked kitchen with a stovetop, sink, pots and pans, and what I think was a three-cup coffee maker. The bathroom is spacious, the shower works for tall people, and there's a washing machine. The windows have mosquito screens and block out sound. We also had a handy patio for meals outside and drying clothes. It's a five-minute drive to the beach. Walking there isn't ideal because Via Cesenatico is a bit long. There's also a small Sisa supermarket five minutes away, with the things you need. The apartment is bright, so opening the windows didn't cool it enough, and we used the air conditioning, which I'd recommend. I brought mosquito coils and a burner, but didn't need them since there didn't seem to be many insects. If you're packing, you might want to bring a hair dryer, a power strip for the bedside, a sponge, stovetop cleaner, dishcloths, and laundry soap. There are plenty of outlets around the rest of the apartment. We had a very positive stay, and the owner's kindness made us feel we'd absolutely come back.

The apartments are new, spacious, tidy, and well looked after, with a small balcony or garden and all the comforts. The person who checked us in was professional and courteous, and the sea is about 600 meters away. The nearby construction was something we could overlook. The main downside is the young crowd in the area. If you happen to visit during a bad spell, it can feel like a dorm full of partygoers, with shouting and screaming at all hours, so sleep may be hard. I'll try to be objective despite everything.

There are shops and everyday essentials nearby, including a newsstand, market, tobacconist, bars, and restaurants, and there's plenty of parking. The residence is quiet and set away from the holiday crowds. It's in an easy-to-reach part of Mancaversa Marina di Taviano, Lecce, close to the sea and within reach of Salento nightlife spots like Gallipoli, Nardi, Santa Maria di Leuca, and Otranto. Tastefully furnished and equipped with what you need, it's a good choice for individuals or families. A 10.

My little apartment was really charming, with everything from a hair dryer to an iron and washing machine. It was all new, worked well, and was spotless. When the refrigerator gave us trouble, the friendly, helpful staff member acted right away and brought a replacement to our door. The outside is still in progress, but we had a lovely stay, close to Salento's beautiful sights and away from the chaos. I highly recommend Oasi Punta delle Suine. Me Ra viglio se!
