Mario made sure we had what we needed throughout our stay at La Torretta in Tavullia, and even arranged a lovely surprise birthday cake for my partner. That made the trip extra special. He also suggested places to visit and eat nearby, which added a lot to our experience. The views from the beautiful, clean hotel include Rossi’s ranch. There’s handy on-site parking, and a very friendly cat greeted us too. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh cooking, homemade bread and cakes. We’d happily recommend La Torretta to anyone visiting Tavullia. Thanks, Mario, for all your warmth, kindness and care.

We had a lovely dinner at Ristorante la Pantana, which Mario recommended and booked for us. The food was delicious, and it had the best zuppa inglese I’ve ever tasted. The B&B was easy to find, with a safe parking space right in front of the building. Mario and Nicoletta were so friendly and kind. Breakfast included homemade bread, fresh juice and yogurt, plus homemade pear jam and other fruit jam. We could choose how we wanted our eggs, and they made them for us. The heated pool was a great way to relax. We stayed one night in the Caterina room, with two adults and a 13-year-old. It was spacious, spotless and had fresh towels and bed linen, a mini fridge and a bathroom. It’s on the second floor, but there’s an elevator, which was very useful. The room and yard look out over the surrounding hills, and Valentino Rossi Motor ranch is nearby. There’s also good access to places like Florence and San Marino. I warmly recommend Bed and Breakfast La Torretta!

Mario, Mara & Colletta made us feel so welcome. Colletta happens to be my Italian twin, born on the same day, month and year, and they’re all lovely, funny people. Her homemade bread and cakes are superb. The B&B has stunning views and is run by a wonderful family. We’ll definitely come back.

Mario and Nicolleta are such wonderful hosts, always ready to help. The rooms are cosy, comfortable and clean, with beautiful surroundings and good restaurants nearby. It’s close to Tavullia centre too. We’d come back without a doubt.

A family-run B&B with home baking, a swimming pool, roof terrace and amazing panoramic views over Valentino rossi’s hometown and ranch. I love this place. If I could, I’d give it ten stars xxxx
