Le Quattro Stagioni

The location is beautiful, and the neighbors were lovely and helpful. We got there a little early and were in a hurry, but the tenants came over quickly and let us check in. A beautiful place with amazing tenants.

The quiet setting is the one clear plus. The rest of the stay was difficult. There was no phone signal, and using the Wi-Fi meant entering a long, roughly twenty-character alphanumeric password, which was a hassle. We were shown a tiny double room with just one bedside table, then asked to pay cash upfront without getting a receipt. To reach the room on the first floor, you take a wooden staircase whose lights didn’t work, so you’re left using your phone flashlight or taking the stairs in the dark at your own risk. There was no water in the room, and we had to go down the street to contact the manager because, as mentioned, we couldn’t call. The issue was fixed after ten minutes, but I kept wondering what would have happened if I’d discovered it while showering. The closet meant for our clothes was full of towels and blankets, and there was no breakfast. I’d stop here only if I desperately needed somewhere to sleep and had no other choice.

The family were lovely and helpful, and we enjoyed some peaceful days surrounded by nature. The rooms are new, very clean, and basic. We’ll be back!
