I never got to see the place because the owner canceled my booking. They asked me to make a bank transfer instead of using the usual booking charge because of a problem on their end, then requested a copy of my ID. That had never happened to me before, so I'm just sharing my experience. Think twice before booking this accommodation if you want to avoid being in the same situation. I wish the owners well and hope this doesn't happen to anyone else again.

I stumbled across this place and fell in love with it. It's beautiful from every angle. I rented an apartment in the residence, and alongside the lovely apartment, I met some truly special people who made me feel welcome right away.

After a lovely walk on the nearby trails, we ate at the property's restaurant. The portions were generous, the prices reasonable, and the pizzoccheri was something special. Dogs are welcome too.

The manager, Adriano, was kind and professional as always. Even though it was late, he made us an excellent lunch at a great price. On our return from Fontanacce, where the chairlift arrives, we enjoyed a cured meat appetizer and risotto with Bitto cheese and bresaola. We'd first stopped in after it had recently reopened, having breakfast before a hike and looking over the menu of Valtellina specialties at reasonable prices. We said we'd come back for lunch, and we did. Congratulations!
