Aquapetra Resort and Spa

Our wedding weekend at Aquapetra still feels like a dream. Our family and friends were amazed by the whole experience, and their happiness made it even more meaningful. The place, the food, the atmosphere, every detail was beyond what we imagined, but the staff made it unforgettable by going above and beyond for us and our loved ones. Aquapetra will always have a piece of our hearts. I can't wait to return, whether for another celebration, a romantic escape, or just to enjoy the beauty and peace there.

Great value for the price, and we'll definitely come back. The rooms are spacious and clean, the beds are incredible, and the staff are both friendly and professional. The pool area is nice too. The spa is just mid, though it's getting an upgrade soon. The Michelin Restaurant was one of the best we've ever tried.

We stopped by on the way to a nearby town to see whether it looked as good as it did in the TV series. It was just as pretty, even with the enhancements made for the programme. The setting is stunning and secluded, ringed by olive groves and mountains, and the rustic stone buildings and landscaping are beautiful. The service let the visit down. Although the place was deserted, the waitress got parts of our order wrong, adding ice to drinks we'd asked to have without it, and forgetting the cocoa on the cappuccino and the table napkins. There was also quite a fuss when it became clear we weren't staying there, since apparently there was no way to pay at the bar. She was still friendly and smiley, though. When we were ready to leave, she walked us to reception, where the receptionist was barely courteous. That's not what you'd expect from a luxury spa resort, and frankly, "Fred" wouldn't have been impressed.

The restaurant served the best Italian food I've had after nearly three years of living in the country. The rooms were gorgeous, and the spa facilities were amazing. It's a beautiful oasis in the mountains, with great architecture. The staff were courteous, and many spoke English. Highly recommended on all counts!
