The room was spacious and clean, and the staff were super friendly. The location just off the highway was handy, though the beds were uncomfortable and I could feel every spring. The restaurant bill was a real rip off. The kids didn’t like the sloppy, doughy, undercooked pizza, so we got them two bowls of plain boiled pasta with nothing on them. Those cost 20 euros, more than the pizzas at 14 euros. When I asked the manager about the price, he said that was the cost. We were also charged too much for drinks: we had one iced tea and two small glasses of milk. I tried to explain that as well but got nowhere. The only charge he agreed to reduce was the service fee.

We stopped in for lunch, and the staff were really friendly. The food tasted good too. Everything was great!

The room was dirty, with poor equipment, and breakfast and service were below average. It took 20 minutes to get four boiled eggs. I travel a lot, and this was one of the worst places I’ve stayed. When I booked, they asked for my card details and then charged the full amount right away, even though I’d been told payment would happen at checkout. They shouldn’t do that without authorization. Such a shame in a beautiful country like Italy. I’m Italian, and a lot of people here need to learn how to treat customers properly. This is one of the main reasons tourism is declining here. Wake up!

Clean rooms, a good restaurant, a lovely atmosphere, and a very good breakfast made this a pleasant hotel. The location is great too, very close to Bergamo airport and just a minute from the main highway, with nice surroundings.
