Villa Xenia BB

The rooms are roomy, and the bathrooms are even bigger. Everything was clean, and the decor gives this place a character that sets it apart from many B&Bs. It’s also right in a central, convenient spot, so we’d absolutely come back. The B&B itself is peaceful and lovely, and the owner and staff were genuinely kind. The room was basically a little apartment with three beds, reached by an outside staircase. I managed three hours in one bed, two in another, and another hour and a half in the last one. It clearly wasn’t designed by Philip Starck, but I was there for work, and a good night’s sleep mattered most. My colleagues stayed at the company’s usual nearby Milan hotel, while my kind secretary sent me here. Villa Xenia was a great choice for sleep, breakfast, and overall quality. There’s quiet, convenient parking in the inner courtyard, and the simple breakfast room feels homey. The two owners, I assume they’re husband and wife, were cheerful and kind. The homemade cakes and fresh fruit at breakfast were excellent.

I was there with my aunt for Expo 2015, and we both thought everything was excellent. The owners were lovely, our room was good, and breakfast was generous and delicious. It’s well connected to the city center, though we walked because the Duomo was only a short distance away and we enjoyed seeing Milan along the way. I’d stay at this B&B again if I return, and I’d recommend it to anyone. Thanks for everything.

Breakfast was excellent, and we were treated to wonderful hospitality by the owners, who were such friendly people. The B&B is welcoming, clean, and well cared for, with top-notch service.
