The Aloe studio had loads of space, everything I needed, and a lovely terrace for dinner while the sun went down behind the western mountains. From there, I could see the sea, Corsica, and the Maddalena archipelago, and catch the sunrise in the morning. Before and after booking, the manager Cosina and her husband gave really clear instructions and were so helpful. The property sits on a hill but is easy to get to. In nearby Santu Pascali, Cristina's mini market is small but has all the essentials, including fruit and delicious sandwiches. Everything worked out perfectly. The residence manager was lovely and always around when needed. The apartment was beautifully clean, and its view over La Maddalena was incredible. It's also a handy base for getting to the area's best beaches. I'll definitely come back!

The village of San Pasquale, part of Santa Teresa Gallura, has a bar, grocery shop, post office, and ATM. From there, the views across the Strait of Bonifacio and the Maddalena archipelago are stunning.

A sea-facing room gives you a view across the whole archipelago, and on clear days you can even see Corsica. The rooms are clean and stocked with what you need for a comfortable stay, with a homey feel. There's also a recycling service at the residence. The view can hold its own against what you'd get at a luxury hotel.
