Albergo Stella Alpina

The location is fantastic, with Lago Tenno as the obvious draw. The food, though, felt basic for the price. I ordered the "Insalata Fantasia" and didn’t find it fantastic at all. My little boy was hungry when we got back from our roundtrip around the lake.

We only came for lunch and didn’t stay at the hotel. The lake view is the real highlight, it’s outstanding. The food was good too, and the service felt attentive and welcoming.

During the worst of the storm, they kept the door shut and wouldn’t let people come in. It was cold and wet, and people just wanted some tea or coffee, but the staff only watched us from inside. Extremely rude. I’ll never come back.

We were really disappointed. They pushed us out because we wanted to look inside their ice cream freezer, which didn’t have a glass front. The staff were aggressive about it, even though other customers were outside and saw the whole thing.
